Event Details

A playwright and intellectual, now only able to find work in a brewery because of his involvement with political dissidents, is called into his foreman’s office for a friendly beer and a sobering conversation. In the first full production for the San Francisco Theater Pub, Bennett Fisher directs Paul Stout and Nathan Tucker in Vaclav Havel’s comic one act Audience, a wry masterpiece that tests the limits of empathy, friendship, and drinking tolerance.

Staged in the round in the Cafe Royale bar with good beer on tap and no cover (only a suggested donation), how can you afford to miss it?

Five performances:

April 13, 19, 20 and May 3, 4
Cafe Royale (800 Post Street, San Francisco, at Leavenworth)
8pm each night – pay what you wish ($10 suggested donation)
