Comic Arts Fest 2017: Author Talks, Workshops & Fun Activities | SSF

During the whole month of February, there will be an extravaganza of author visits, workshops, and comics-related programs.

The goal is to enable aspiring artists and readers of all ages and to celebrate the importance of comics both as an art form and as valid literature.

The first Comic Arts Fest took place in October 2015 and was a great success. They were able to feature some great artists, such as Raina Telgemeier, Mariko Tamaki, Steve Leialoha, Nick Dragotta, Alexis Fajardo, and many more. There was also a collaboration with the Cartoon Art Museum to offer fantastic workshops to kids and teens.
