Please note, we believe the Piedmont Avenue Stroll is no longer taking place. 

At the Piedmont Avenue Stroll you can expect to see a variety of art mediums, enjoy entertainment, and sample refreshments with many businesses showcasing hand-picked local artists and designers.

The monthly event was voted Best Art Walk That’s Not Art Murmur by the East Bay Express, so come out to see what the fuss is all about. Admission and parking are free, and plentiful throughout the area after 6 pm.

Every month features a slew of art openings, musical performances and other special treats. Check out their Facebook page to plan your night.

On the night of the event, pick up a map at participating businesses. Collect a stamp from ten participating businesses and be eligible to win raffle prizes — including gift certificates and fun merchandise.

The featured merchant for April’s Stroll is the McGuire-Reid Farmer’s Insurance Agency who are featuring an incredible mosaic sculpture artist, Kim Larson and her art exhibit, Painting With Light. 

Kim Larson’s exquisite mosaic work honors organic form as well as delights the eye. Using mixed glass media such as colored mirror, stained art glass and other reflective tesserae, Kim works in a playful and unique style. Her current series explores the interplay between recognizable shapes and surprising colors.
