Thomas Swick with Don George – Falling Into Place

Submitted by the Event Organizer

This memoir follows a young man’s journey toward becoming a travel writer while navigating a cross-cultural love story amidst communist bureaucracy. By intertwining personal growth with the historical revolution in Eastern Europe, the book provides timely context for understanding today’s Cold War realities.

Thomas will be joined in conversation with Don George, the author of Lonely Planet’s Guide to Travel Writing.
