“Time Travel Photos” Opening Reception | SF

San Francisco artist Tofu has a new series of work called Time Travel Photos. For each work he selects a set of his photos to cut, slice and reconfigure to show both a present and a past. Each work contains an image of an urban space in San Francisco interspersed with images of the location’s natural past.

A finished Time Travel Photo is really one image of a single place. Each photo collage reveals a place where time loosens allowing echoes of past realities to easily emerge through into our present and sometimes even give us a glimpse the future.

Please note, this event is at the San Francisco location of Glama-Rama Salon, not the Oakland location as previously published.
