Event Details

Gogobot hosts Travel Salon – an intimate gathering of writers and travelers for the 21st Century. Talk travel and the digital world, meet fellow travelers and writers, and win the chance to become a paid travel writer.

Are guidebooks becoming irrelevant? Travel writers have shaped our time on the road since the advent of Baedeker’s, but that’s all changing.

Join us for a discussion on the Future of Travel with a panel including Broke-Ass Stuart, author of guides to SF and NYC, and star of his own television show, Erin Robin Caslavka (SFGate.com), Alex Leviton, Editorial Director at Gogobot and author of guidebooks for Lonely Planet.

Later, get up close with the authors in smaller group discussions on their area of expertise, all at Monarch, one of San Francisco’s coolest venues.
