Tree Tour of the Panhandle | Tree Tour with Friends of the Urban Forest | SF

Join Friends of the Urban Forest for a free walking tour of the trees of the Panhandle led by Mike Sullivan, author of Trees of San Francisco.

Free, but an RSVP is required to Michele by phone at 415-268-0780 or by email at michele@fuf.net.

After the San Francisco Botanical Garden, the Panhandle has what may be the best concentration of interesting trees in San Francisco. You’ll walk through eight square blocks of the area, looking at some of the finest specimens.

Though Mike’s book came out a decade ago, the new second edition will be fresh off the press at the time of the tour, with lots of new content. Following the tour, Mike will sign copies.
