“Treehouses” Art Show | SF

From humble hangouts where backyard adventures are planned, to lofty homes for elves and other magical woodland peoples, treehouses bring people closer to the natural and the supernatural. Today, with a focus on green building and biomimicry technology that uses ecosystems as inspiration and model, treehouses also show how people can also live like a forest, with a mix of people and places growing together as a tight knit whole. Painted in traditional Chinese ink and brush style, the treehouses illustrated range from the fantastic to the practical, a series of blueprints towards a treehouse world.
