Join the USS Dewey (DDG-105), her commanding officer and crew, for a tribute to Admiral George Dewey (December 26, 1837 – January 16, 1917) at the Victory Statue – Admiral Dewey Memorial Column in Union Square, San Francisco.

The Navy League of the United States, Pacific Central Region Councils is public event on Monday June 25, 2012 at 12:00pm. All are welcome.

Since 1902, the Navy League of the United States has dedicated itself to providing assistance to our Nation’s Sea Services Heroes. Currently, the Pacific Central Region Councils supports several active duty ships and units through their ship’s adoption program. In addition, the councils sponsor Bay Area Junior ROTC programs as well as local Sea Cadet and Navy League Cadet Squadrons.
