Brian Oblivion and Madeline Follin originally formed Cults as an outlet for their music experiment and a fortnight after posting their electro-pop breakout tune, “Go Outside”. which mixed dream pop haze with girl group harmonies that earned the band acclaim from publications including Pitchfork and NME.

After a two-year hiatus of touring, American indie pop band Cults returns with the release of their third studio album Offering last Oct. 6. The result is an album that reflects life’s daily issues as well as recurring themes of love and heartbreak, but with a far more optimistic disposition than on their past albums.
