“Making the Most of the Pandemic: Mindfulness in the Time of COVID-19”

Many have been saying that 2020 is a “wasted year” and they’re hoping that the year will just hurry up and finish already so that we can move on with our lives. We want to help give thoughts and tips on how to make the most of this time by practicing mindfulness and managing our mental health during this pandemic. Please join us on Wednesday, September 30th VIRTUALLY from 6:00-730 pm PST.

We’re excited to have Dr. Dianne Shumay join Dr. Rugo to discuss as they discuss “Making the Most of the Pandemic: Mindfulness in the Time of COVID-19.” Dr. Shumay is a UCSF psychologist who cares for cancer patients, cancer survivors and patients’ loved ones. She works to address a wide range of short-term and long-term needs, including stress management and coping, and goal setting for finding meaning, purpose and better quality of life. The Q and A function will be available during the webinar but we encourage you to send questions ahead by e-mailing our forum organizer Melody Gawliu at bayareabreastcancerforum@ucsf.edu

We kindly ask that you RSVP to let us know if you are able to attend this virtual forum on Wed 9/30 from 6pm to 730pm PST. ALSO, we invite you to share this forum with anyone else who you feel may be interested and benefit from the information.
