Underground Film Night: Obscure Super 8 & 16mm Movies | Berkeley
The Berkeley Underground Film Society (BUFS) is an all ages club for collectors, researchers, and film enthusiasts in the East Bay and San Francisco area.
Their goal is to review and share a selective film history of movies on film.
Every Sunday, they screen buried, rarely projected, or otherwise obscure 8mm, Super 8, and 16mm prints from their collection.

Ella Cinders is a 1926 American film adaptation of the comic strip Ella Cinders.
Poor Ella Cinders is much abused by her evil step-mother and step-sisters. When she wins a local beauty contest, she jumps at the chance to get out of her dead-end life and go to Hollywood, where she is promised a job in the movies.
In 2013, the film was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being “culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant”
