Celebrate the spirit of international cooperation and the birthday United Nations with the United Nations Association of the East Bay’s annual United Nations Parade through Jack London Square..

A tradition for over 50 years, the UN Association has hosted this parade of flags from all 193 UN member countries in honor of October’s United Nations Day, in order to celebrate the contributions the organization has made to help improve international relations.

  • International music starts at 10:30 am
  • Parade of 193 Flags of the Members of the United Nations begins at 11 am at One Franklin Street.
  • The official Raising the UN Flag Ceremony and white dove release will be at 12:30 pm.
