Unplug & Play Collective – No Phone Zone Hangout (Lake Merritt)

Welcome to our special edition Unplug & Play – a picnic in the park at Lake Merritt, Oakland! There will be food and drink and we encourage you to bring your favorite munchies too. We will have some breakfast foods like croissants, and vietnamese sandwiches. Arrive on time to ensure you get food!!

Escape the digital grind, leave your cell phone at the door, and do a mini digital detox at Lake Merritt with us…and bring your mom!

This event gives the opportunity to enjoy friends and family on a Sunday morning, surrounded by screen-free mingling with a community of like-minded people!

WHY JOIN?

This event carves out dedicated time in your schedule to put away your cell phone, unwind, connect, and rediscover the simple joys of life in community. Total Duration:

2.5 hours

11:00 AM Sign-In, Meet, Greet and Mingle (please be on time as it helps to improve the container!) Grab your name tag, say hello, get settled in. We’ll eat, chat, and break the ice!

60 Minutes

Community Through Curiosity – Time to connect! Choose a question from our deck or ask your own, and go around the circle sharing your answers. It’s all about getting to know each other in a relaxed, open space. You can pass or come back to a question later if you’d like!

15 Minutes Break time

45 Minutes Chill Time: Hang & Play Pair up, group up, or chill solo! Play games, chat, or simply hang out with new friends.

10 Minutes Closing & Gratitude Let’s wrap up with a quick reflection and gratitude. Share one word that sums up your experience! ________________________________________
