Three of the most impactful journalists, influencers, and storytellers of our time gather together to discuss: Are immigrants and refugees fleeing their countries due to circumstances that the United States has largely caused? Are our immigration policies still promoting nationalism, unilateralism, and xenophobia? What’s the role of the media in the demolition or perpetuation of narratives that are harmful to the collective image we have of immigrant communities? What are the stories we’ve never heard? Amplifying immigrant communities’ voices, Untold Stories of America, a virtual event organized by Social Justice Collaborative.
