Event Details

Join Petaluma author Rachel Kaplan for a lively discussion about sustainable living and the permaculture-based practices of the urban homesteading movement.

Rachel will give a slideshow presentation based on her recent book, written with K. Ruby Blume, Urban Homesteading: Heirloom Skills for Sustainable Living, which provides the “how-tos” for urban gardening, food preservation, water, waste, and energy management, and community building from people who have chosen this lifestyle. Books will be available at the event for purchase.
