Valentine “Make & Take” Cocktail & Art Party | Golden Gate Park

You are invited to a special Valentine Make & Take, hosted by the Friends of Sharon Art Studio.Come create a unique and personal Valentine for someone special in a valentine-making group activity guided by: Olivia Competente, Jeannie Ichimura & Cassandra Sechler, focusing on recycled paper art, collage, and traditional valentine making fun.

Have scraps of paper, magazines, of fabric you haven’t been able to figure out what to do with but haven’t tossed? Why not bring them to share & put to use. To further personalize your valentine, feel free to bring anything else you’d like to include, such as a photo, printed materials (like a poem special to you), fabric, or other items of special value to you.

Staff and volunteers will be available for guidance & suggestions in the activity; but instruction is limited. This event is intended for those who would like to come make recycled art, be social, and make a gift for someone (or yourself) at the end of the night.

Specialty cocktails, coffee, sweets, and some materials will be provided: stencils, pens, heart shapes, stickers, various papers, doilies, lace, fabric, tissue, scissors, glue, feathers, glitter, magazine clippings, and more.

Space is limited so get your tickets early.
