Hike in Glen Canyon Park | SF City Guides: Rare Neighborhood Walking Tours Month | May 2019Explore a hidden gem in plain site, by uncovering what happened and didn’t happen in the colorful history of Glen Canyon Park.
Wear sturdy shoe and be able to crouch down to go under the willow branches. Terrain is uneven and can be slippery when wet. There is Poison Oak in the canyon. Please note, this is considered a vigorous hike.
Location:
Meet at the park entrance on Elk Street near the end of Chenery Street.
Limited to 15 hikers; rain cancels. Transportation via BART or bus #44, 52, 23, or 36
