Sharktoberfest™ 2020
When: Saturday, September 26, 2020 10am-1:30pm PDT
Where: Streaming on YouTube Live

Our annual celebration of sharks is going virtual this year!

Join us for an online celebration of sharks to raise awareness of the importance of elasmobranchs in our marine ecosystem, coinciding with the arrival of white sharks to the San Francisco area. Tune in for fun and educational activities for adults and kids – shark art, shark science, shark films, shark conservation, and lots of great ukulele tunes!

Free event! No registration is necessary.

Noted white shark researcher Scot Anderson will join other shark experts for the panel discussion, “They’re Awesome and Jawsome – So Why Must We Protect Them?” around midday/early afternoon, exact time TBD; see Event Info: farallones.org for later details.

Disclaimer: Please double check event information with the event organizer as events can be canceled, details can change after they are added to our calendar, and errors do occur.
