Arriving Here Now: A Wandering Whimsy is a free outdoor theatrical and interactive walking tour in Golden Gate Park.
Free, but an RSVP is required.
Come take a performative stroll through nature peering in and participating with this urban natural wonder. Take a walking tour through shrubs and blossoms to often unseen miracles of nature. Look through new eyes at the world around you and begin to arrive everywhere you are. Engage the multiple layers of history, as well as your own inner landscape.
Beginning at the Conservatory of Flowers, the tour winds into the lovely and shaded Fuchsia Dell gardens where performers invite audience members into the ritualistic and sacred space of “Arriving Here Now.” FoolsFURY’s Bridge – Building Relationships in Deliberate Group Ensemble – is an apprenticeship program designed to help young theater artists create original work, develop production skills and reach new audiences.
