It’s Hardly Strictly Bluegrass week, and so to celebrate, the Warren Hellman Museum(dedicated to the man who created and funded HSB) is open and free for seven straight days.
It’s a really wonderful tribute to Warren and the festival – three rooms, filled from floor to ceiling with HSB posters and artwork over the years, photo books, Warren’s banjo, photos of him, Wronglers’ artwork & memorabilia, festival video clips and music. It’s a fantastic tribute, and a bit moving especially since Warren passed away last year, but his legacy (and HSB lives on).
Typically, this free museum is only open one day a week (Wednesdays from 3-7 pm).
