Market Street Arts presents free art events with free craft workshops are the perfect artsy excuse to put down your phone, try a new activity, and enjoy some after work fun in Mid-Market. Join us at 54 Mint for a block printing workshop. Create beautiful prints with a variety of inks and pre-carved blocks. Grab a drink, try some of the truly delicious italian food, and socialize with fellow crafters.
We’ve partnered with Workshop SF and artist Leah at Coffee & Cream Press (@coffeecreampress) to provide everything you need: materials, inspiration, and instruction. Participants will use pre-carved blocks to create colorful prints on paper. Ink is applied to the block with a roller, then pressed onto paper to transfer the design. The process highlights the texture and detail of block printing, allowing each print to be unique.
Well-Crafted is a FREE art event presented by Market Street Arts with support from Workshop SF, the San Francisco Office of Economic & Workforce Development, and 54 Mint. Market Street Arts is an initiative of the Mid-Market Business Association & Foundation.
