Two leading investigative journalists discuss the current state of investigative journalism and how it is affecting civil liberties and democracy in the United States and abroad.

Barton Gellman is a Pulitzer Prize and Polk Award-winning journalist (Washington Post, TIME) who broke the story about the PRISM surveillance program based on the leaks provided by NSA contractor Edward Snowden. Uri Blau (Haaretz) is best known for the Anat Kamm affair, in which he wrote about an unlawful targeted military assassination in Israel and was indicted and convicted for possession of classified documents under the espionage act. Dessert reception follows conversation.
