Wild Oakland Walks
Wild Oakland leads free, fun and educational guided environmental walks for busy urbanites.
They are a 100% volunteer organization, from the guiding committee to the walk leaders who donate their time because of a shared passion for ecology and education.
River otters are ambassadors for habitat preservation and restoration since they’re charismatic carnivores reliant on healthy watersheds to thrive.
Meet at the Rotary Nature Center at noon on Saturday, August 17, 2013.
Through storytelling and coloring, you’ll learn about these playful otters and how we can make sure they have what they need to be healthy and happy in the Bay Area. This special event is geared toward children 3-10 years old, but all ages are welcome.
Here are some otter pups for you. You’re welcome.
