Wil-Dog will slip into his alter-ego, El Gavachillo, and introduce the Mission to his new project, a punk-rock inspired take on traditional Mexican banda music featuring one of LA’s hottest Mexican bandas, Banda El Juvenil.
Wil-Dog is the bassist for Ozomatli, and is of Jewish descent. From an early age he saw first-hand police violence, racism and antisemitism. The acclaimed band is known for their vocal activist viewpoints and wide array of musical styles including salsa, funk, reggae and hip-hop.
Doors open 15 minutes prior to show time. Free with RSVP.
