Winter Solstice Celebration w/ Fire Arts + Candlelight Labyrinth Walk (East Bay)

Solstice Celebration | 4:30 – 5:45

Live fire arts performer, winter hors d’oeuvres, spike your cider bar for adults, hot cocoa for all ages, poetry, candlelight labyrinth walk, and original sonic rhythms provided by The House of Willow. It’s a moment for the whole family to pause and honor the longest night of the year even as the earth begins to lean back toward the sun. This event is followed by a special “Sonic Solstice” Experience for those wanting to stay a bit longer or return at 6:00.

A Sonic Solstice | 6:00 – 7:15

Musical artists Ata Toth-Fejel and Tony Kiser guide your journey into the longest of nights. Together, they create a soundscape that blends frequencies and rhythm using sonic tools including Handpan, Didgeridoo, Hand Drums, Native American Flutes, Shruti box, Harmonium, Singing bowls and more.

For those interested in a deeper experience, the Solstice Celebration will be followed by an hour-long “Sonic Solstice” candlelight experience located in the Main Hall from 6:00 – 7:15.

This rare experience provides a space to simply relax into a solstice moment that may open up some new frontier for you. Join us for this guided journey and a chance to share your reflections and meet the artists.

Regular seating and yoga mats are available or bring your own.
