Winter Solstice Eve 2018: Beach Celebration & Plunge
Thursday, December 20, 2018 |3:30 pm (Ritual 4 pm)
Ocean Beach, Great Hwy & Quintara, SF
Take the scenic L-Taraval Muni train. Ride to 46th Avenue, walk two blocks to the beach, and look northward for group of beach-loving pagans.
This is a spiritual solstice event, NOT a beach party. There’s no alcohol or drugs allowed. So if you’re looking for a drunken beach rager, this isn’t the event for you. But if you’re looking for a way to connect with others who celebrate the solstice, you’re welcome to join.
Bring warm layers, towel, greenery or decomposable items for solstice altar, food items to share, flashlights are also helpful for gathering things after the ritual. Please do not bring firewood.
