Women Artists “Reclamation” Holiday Art Party | Secession Art & Design

Secession Art & Design’s holiday art show, reclamation, is a three-woman show featuring Hilary Williams, Shannon Amidon, and Su Evers. The hearts, spirits, and communities were tested this year with the mix of politics and natural disasters.

Art is a powerful activist for the unsaid. How will we rebuild? What is the relationship between animals, nature, history, and our current state? Through reclaimed wood, encaustic, photo transfer, paint, and screen printing, each texture draws you into an artist’s interpretation of reclaiming strength and the hope that a new year promises.
