“Wonder Women of SF” walking tours share the stories of Lady artists, pioneers, revolutionaries, & generally impressive dames who have influenced San Francisco history. Each tour is unique, visiting a different neighborhood and introducing a new set of women.
The Golden Gate Park edition shares the stories of a bad-ass botanist who slept on cliff-sides to collect rare plant specimens, a women who traveled through the Amazon in the pursuit of science, and the first woman to fly over the North Pole — among others!
We’ll be walking a path that is mostly flat (but not entirely), spanning about 1.5 miles. Please reach out in advance if you have accessibility concerns.
