“Wood Shoppe Summer Camp” Acoustic Music & Comedy Fest | Glen Park

Come out for a day of music and comedy, fully unplugged, in the forest near the Glen Park Rec Center from 1-7 pm on Saturday, July 18, 2015.

Bring your own food, utensils, drinks, and water in your own bottl. This site does not have trash cans or any food vendors. They will have trash bags designated for recycling and garbage. Please keep the site as clean as possible. Bring food that would be easy to eat and dispose of. No glass. This is a leave no trace event.

Technically, there is no alcohol allowed at the park, so please be discreet. There are five rows of seats (log seating) in front of the stage. Come early and bring a blanket. Bathrooms are at the Glen Park Rec Center which is near the entrance – about a 5 minute walk from where the stage is.

How to Get There

The fastest way to get to the site is on Bosworth Street off O’Shaughnessy Blvd. There is an entrance to a hiking trail to the left, the site is along the hike, about .3 miles in. The stage will be the first thing you see once you arrive.

There is plenty of parking on O’Shaughnessy and Elk Street. If you’re calling a car service, have them drop you off at Bosworth and O’Shaughnessy which is right next to the entrance.

If you’re taking BART – get off at Glen Park Bart station and walk up about half a mile to O’Shaughnessy and take a right at Bosworth, and the entrance to the hiking trail should be at the end of the road.
