“World Labyrinth Day” 2025 at Grace Cathedral (SF)

Every year on the first Saturday in May, thousands around the globe participate in World Labyrinth Day, a moving meditation for world peace and a celebration of the labyrinth experience.

Grace Cathedral is proud to host this year’s gathering. Join us from 11 am to 2 pm to walk our indoor and outdoor labyrinths, accompanied by live music, thoughtful conversation, creativity, and community.

Walk as One at 1: Join the global wave of peace as participants around the world “Walk as One at 1 pm” local time, creating a continuous wave of meditative energy across time zones.

Members of the Grace Cathedral Labyrinth Guild will be on hand to facilitate the walk and guide you through the labyrinth.

Live music performances include:

• Destiny Muhammad – harp
• Mirabai – guitar and harmonium
• Sidney Chen – music boxes

Special sessions include:

• Judith Tripp, MA, MFT – Veriditas faculty and longtime leader of The Women’s Dream Quest at Grace Cathedral
• Dr. Richard Elsner – Author of Walking the Church Year: Personal Devotions for a Labyrinth Prayer Practice

Additional highlights include:

• The Purrfect Catch, a nonprofit dedicated to caring for homeless cat communities, will be on site to share its work.
• Saving Grace Rescue – volunteers from Saving Grace Rescue will share information about fostering and adoptions for kittens and Fospice a special program to provide homes for Senior cats.
• A labyrinth-themed art table where guests of all ages can decorate their labyrinth to take home.
• Food available for purchase from Le Beau Market.
• Intercontinental Hotel – The Mark Hopkins will provide free samples from their new Weekend Warrior Menu
