Daughters. Sisters. Mothers; Crossing oceans in pursuit of “the American Dream.” What is it like to grow up in a place where survival and success are measured by how much of ourselves we can erase?

The documentary “We Wove a Net” looks at the experience of migration and assimilation through stories of Asian American families throughout metro Detroit, exploring what meaning these narratives hold for the communities and confronting where they fall short.
