African American educator Sandra Bass, Salvadoran American author Roberto Lovato, African American artivist Mark Harris, Japanese American writer Shizue Seigel, and members of Asian Health Services in a virtual presentation on challenging racism by reclaiming and sharing our life experiences as people of color. Following the presentation, audience can share their own thoughts in a writing exercise that can be developed for submission to Write Now! SF Bay’s upcoming anthology Essential Truths: The Bay Area in Color (to be published June 2021).
