Event Details

WritersCorps Live: 20 Years Of Youth Voices is an evening of readings by NoViolet Bulawayo and WritersCorps students at the Contemporary Jewish Museum.

For 20 years, WritersCorps has transformed the lives of over 20,000 young San Franciscans through the power of creative writing by placing writers in residence at public schools, juvenile hall, libraries and community organizations.

In celebration of its 20th anniversary, WritersCorps will present WritersCorps Live: 20 Years of Youth Voices, a multi-generational reading in partnership with the Contemporary Jewish Museum (The CJM). WritersCorps youth poets and teaching artists share the stage with award-winning author NoViolet Bulawayo (We Need New Names).

Free (Museum Admission not required); Youth 18 and under always free; advance online registration recommended.
