FREEThe Wyatt is San Francisco’s own SlamRock band, with sounds like Cake, Primus, Frank Zappa, Mr. Bungle and influences by Weird Al, Amy Winehouse, Tower of Power, Rage Against the Machine. Featuring Modern Monsters.
Modern Monsters hails from both the North Bay and East Bay. The diversity of influences, styles, and sounds was present from the beginning of the band. Common grounds have included grunge, ambient/ experimental, and more classic rock and roll sounds. They all tend to like heavy, hard-hitting riffs and haunting melodies, and this forms the backbone of a lot of their songs.
