Join us for our Y For Youth Community Festival – this year’s festivities will be bigger and better than ever!

Since 2012, the YMCA of Greater San Francisco has proudly hosted Y for Youth, an annual event celebrating the incredible potential of young people in our Bay Area communities. This beloved gathering has evolved over the years, but its core mission remains the same: bringing neighbors, families, and supporters together to honor the vital role youth play in shaping our future, while raising critical funds for YMCA programs that help them thrive.

Join us for a day of connection and celebration at this year’s festival—a family-friendly event for all ages. This event also marks the official grand opening of the new Dogpatch YMCA and is a great opportunity for families to explore the Y’s offerings and activities, from youth development and teen mentorship to sports and summer camps.

Enjoy a fun-filled day with:

  • Lots of fun activities for kids and kids at heart
  • Food and refreshments
  • An appearance by Clifford the Big Red Dog

Our New Facility

We’re beyond excited to celebrate the opening of our Dogpatch YMCA at Crane Cove — our first newest facility in 30 years! As part of our 2030 Vision to foster strong communities where everyone can Be, Belong, and Become, this new location marks the YMCA of Greater San Francisco’s 15th branch in the Bay Area. Serving Dogpatch and Potrero Hill, it offers a wide range of programs, fitness opportunities (including water sports!), and wellness services for all.
