Yehuda Amichai is Israel’s greatest contemporary poet. It’s not hard to see why. During his lifetime, he published plays, stories, novels, essays, three children’s books, and eleven volumes of poetry. Phew, got worn out just writing that.
The Jewish Community Center of SF is proud to present a night honoring the late poet, with special readings by his chief translators, his wife, and special video and dance performances by his daughter, Emanuella Amichai. A rich night of music and poetry. What’s not to love?
