Y-Exchange is a monthly series of presentations about performing arts, technology, science and how they intersect and inform one another. We invite selected artists and scientists to talk about their life and work with our community.

This month Y-Exchange is proud to present Danielle Siembieda, Alter Eco Artist, and Multimedia Artist, Kecya Felix Donelly. Y-Exchange is co-presented by Kinetech Arts, ODC Theatre and The Djerassi Resident Artists Program. This event is open to the public and admission is free.

Danielle Siembieda is an Alter Eco Artist working at the intersection of community, technology and sustainability. She is also the Managing Director of the world’s leading art & science organization Leonardo/The International Society for the Arts, Sciences and Technology.

Kecya Felix is a multimedia artist born and raised in Brazil, and resident of Mill Valley, California. Female artist, wife, mother and lover of life, Kecya infuses love into her art, where she believes art be a spiritual path. Her Artcura approaches the art of living and homemaking, being the most recurrent theme feeding her artistry, intersecting insights and reflections upon container and essence of body and mind. Her interest includes the interaction between body-movement, creative storytelling, ritual and female rites of passage.

Kecya is part of Anna Halprin Score Lab. Kecya considers herself a messenger seeding a new world; a close future where will be no more ideas dividing the human and nature. The feminine and masculine will be conscious of it’s creative essence and causes and conditions will be revealed as data and emotional intelligence progresses.
