Event Details

This past July, COAL + ICE partnered with Youth Speaks to encourage young artists to write original poetry on the theme of climate change. These poems were performed at the Brave New Voices festival in Houston, and the five winners are traveling to San Francisco to participate in this special evening program.

Join inside the COAL + ICE exhibition for a one-night only performance by these acclaimed young poets. The evening will also include dance and other special guests.

Youth Speaks, based in San Francisco, is the most prominent presenter of spoken word in the US, overseeing a network of spoke word organizations around the country.
