Half Moon Bay | Ol Fashioned 4th of July ParadeHalf Moon Bay celebrates Independence Day 2013 and its classic small town spirit with the popular Ol’ Fashioned 4th of July Parade down historic Main Street.

Starting at 12 noon, the delightful, home-spun parade features a charming array of creative floats, marching bands, equine groups, classic cars, decorated trikes and bikes, non-profits, youth sports teams, dance and theatre troupes, and local dignitaries who will slowly wind its way through the crowded downtown.

The parade starts at noon at the south end of Main Street and finishes at Mill Street.

Please note, in 2013, there will not be an official “Pooches on Parade” contest, but some people will bring their dogs and walk them in the parade.

Unfortunately, due to lack of funds and community support, there will not be fireworks for 2013 in Half Moon Bay. The American Legion will not be organizing fireworks in the future.
