Half Moon Bay celebrates Independence Day 2012 and its classic small town spirit with the popular Ol’ Fashioned 4th of July Parade down historic Main Street.

Starting at 12 noon, the delightful, home-spun parade features a charming array of creative floats, marching bands, equine groups, classic cars, decorated trikes and bikes, “Pooches on Parade”, non-profits, youth sports teams, dance and theatre troupes, and local dignitaries who will slowly wind its way through the crowded downtown.

Fireworks canceled for 2012: due to lack of funds there will be no fireworks this year in Half Moon Bay. For more information on the event, call Cameron Palmer at 650 726-5705.
