“Brass Tax” DJ Dance Party | 2014

The 8th annual Brass Tax Dance Party takes over a secret location in San Francisco with DJs, a potluck, and most likely a bouncy house (for kids and adults) on May 10, 2014.

Is this a private event? Full details about the event including exact location available for subscribers to their daily mailing list. If you sign up, you’ll get advanced notice about their upcoming dance parties.

What is Brass Tax? Known primarily for their legendary Halloween Sunrise renegade and their monthly ragers in the Mission, Brass Tax has been throwing epic and offbeat not-for-profit dance parties in SF for over 13 years.

Big, bouncing beats are typically provided by your local Brass Tax DJs such as Haute Mess, JoeJoe, Mace, DingDong and Ernie Trevino; plus, they may have some out of town DJ guests.

Please note: This is a leave no trace event, so bring a trash bag and be ready to pack it in once the party ends.

If there is a bouncy house, grown-ups can go in – just get there early. Kids get priority, of course.

This usually is a fully-permitted gathering, but the  location does has staff that will be monitoring, so use discretion. You’re all adults, you know the drill. Bottles are for babies – use a cup. Also, smoking of any kind is banned and people have indeed gotten tickets at events like this. If you choose to flaunt this law, you do so at your own risk, and you MUST dispose of all butts appropriately, i.e. NEVER EVER IN THE GRASS.

They don’t call it Brass Tax family for nothing. This started out as friends-and-family kind of party, so please be respectful of the organizers and their efforts to bring you this awesome free party. And if you have a buck or two, please feel free to drop it in the proverbial hat throughout the day.
