Event Details

Meet the prolific sci-fi author, Andrea Hairston, in a reading and conversation around her new book, Archangels of Funk. In the novel, Cinnamon confronts threats from the Darknet Lords and the nostalgia militia and must determine how best to honor her elders and history.

This event is part of the Sistah Scifi series, a partnership between the SFPL African American Center and Sistah Scifi, the first Black owned bookstore focused on science fiction and fantasy in the United States.
