The Fantastic Solution to Global Warming and other Conundrums is an exhibition of new artwork by San Francisco based artist and athlete Pete Ippel. In this collection of drawings, photographic prints, and videos he explores themes ranging from nuclear waste processing to the pairing of art and sport. The Organization of Special needs hosts it’s 4th annual festival for people of all walks (or wheels) of life. May 17th is filled with fun activities. Flag raising ceremony, a special parade, a special soccer tournament, children’s arts/crafts/music and face painting activities, inflatable games like Bounce House, Giant Slide and Obstacle Field, children’s books give away, live community multi-cultural stage performance, over 40 FREE community service exhibits and Health & Nutrition service exhibits, and a one day Youth Leadership Conference. The festival will also prepare an international food court and outdoor music concert,
plus the carnival must have — icy, cotton candy, pop corn, and colorful balloons for children.

After gaining renown for his role in the much-loved television series M*A*S*H, actor Mike Farrell embarked upon a more arduous path as a human rights advocate. “Just Call Me Mike: A Journey to Actor and Activist” is his story. As amply demonstrated in this memoir, Farrell’s celebrity has put him in the unique position to witness and participate in the efforts of peace-workers both at home and throughout the world.

Best known as an actor and for his eight years on M*A*S*H and five seasons on Providence, Mike Farrell is also a writer, director and producer. Farrell has served on human rights and peace delegations to many countries around the world. As President of Death Penalty Focus, he speaks, writes, and coordinates efforts to stop executions.
