Concord | 4th of July Parade, Festival & Fireworks | 2023

Come out and enjoy Concord’s Home Town Parade, Picnic taking place at Todos Santos Plaza followed by an evening festival and fireworks at Mt. Diablo High School (only three blocks from Todos Santos Plaza), on July 4, 2023.

We want to invite you to Downtown Concord for the 2023 Concord July 4th 5k, Parade, Festival and Firework presented by Marathon. The day begins at Todos Santos Park at 8am with a kid’s fun run and 5k, at 10 am will be the 32nd Annual Independence Day Parade, then at 4pm at Mt. Diablo High School the gates will open for our Festival that will include Live Music, a Kids Carnival, local food, and vendor booths, and finally at 9pm will be a Fireworks Spectacular over Concord. All the day’s events are Free to public and made possible by our sponsors and partnership with the City of Concord and Mt. Diablo Unified School District.

There will be 2 water stops/aid stations on the course (at miles 1 and 2) and a ton of delicious and refreshing post-race goodies and bottled water. After the race, stay for Concord’s famous and fantastic 4th of July Parade (starting at 10:00 am), complete with floats, bands, equestrian & dance teams and more!

At 4 pm, the gates will open for the 10th Annual 4th of July Festivities with a kids carnival, food and vendor booths, and local artist exhibit. Live entertainment on stage will start at 5 pm with The Beach Boys Tribute Band, Surfs Up followed by The 925 Band on stage at 7:30 PM.

The day will conclude with a 9 pm fireworks display that will not disappoint.

Parade is free but if you’re going to join the Fun Run, an entry fee ranging from $45 to $49 is required. Please see the website for more details.
