The International Lao New Year Festival celebrates the new year 2555 (that’s our 2012), a big community festival held in the San Francisco’s United Nations Plaza.
>> The festival features live music, cultural performances, ceremonies and live Thai kickboxing matches.
The Thai, Cambodian, Burmese also share the same New Year and will join the 4th annual festival on April 28, 2012 as they celebrate the holiday. 40,000+ people are expected to attend this outdoor all-day festival.
