CANCELED: “Nightlife on Mars” Comedy Night | SF

Nightlife on Mars is a weekly comedy show at Murphy’s Pub, produced by local comics Joe Nguyen, Red Scott, and Natasha Muse.

The three members of Nightlife on Mars are the triptych that represents the spiritual base of the San Francisco comedy scene. Between them, they’ve performed with comic talents ranging from Robin Williams to Wyatt Cenac, and have been featured by the SF Weekly, The Daily Mail, and KALW.

Guests for the 11/15 show include:

  • Mike Drucker is a stand-up comedian and writer living in San Francisco, California. He is a contributing writer to The Onion and Saturday Night Live. He also regularly writes humor pieces for McSweeney’s and Black20. During his time as an intern on Saturday Night Live his nerdy mannerisms were noticed by writers and he was subsequently parodied by Zach Braff in a Bronx Beat sketch.
  • Hector Rodriguez – Host and producer of the Off Color Comedy Showcase. Hector is a Latin Comic performing all over the Bay Area.
  • Richard Sarvate – Computer programmer by day and also computer programmer by night, he finds time in between to stand on a slightly elevated platform. It is during these upright performances of humorous endowment that he bestows bourgeois knowledge unto drunk people.
  • Stephen Ku – Stephen has been Asian since 1988, and handsome since 1992. He’s been doing stand-up since 2010, and was a finalist in the 2011 Battle of the Bay Comedy Competition.
  • Richard Dreyling – Rooftop Comedy UC Berkeley Team, Metrosexual Comedy Night, Comet Club Comedy
  • Matt Rath – Don’t Watch This Show: Live!, Dragon Viper Cobra Improv
