In honor of Transgender Day of Remembrance, meetup for a rally at City Hall on Tuesday, November 20, 2012.
Then join the march to City of Refuge (1025 Howard Street) for the main affair with a keynote speech by Sylvia Guerrero, a video memorial, special performances by members of the transgender community, and complimentary food and drinks.
The Transgender Day of Remembrance was set aside to memorialize those who were killed due to anti-transgender hatred or prejudice.
