Vegan Hacker: Corn Dogs & Donuts | Mission Dist.
Kathryn and Maggie are huge nerds who like making food and want to share the love with everyone.
Every last Thursday of the month, they pick a recipe to veganize and then meet up to share the whole process and hack together vegan recipes of dishes that have no business being vegan like corn dogs, fondue, even Twinkies - the dish changes every month.
Last Thursday of the Month, 7pm
Noisebridge, 2169 Mission Street, San Francisco, CA 94103
Free, but they encourage ingredient donations
>> RSVP to email@example.com with your name and the number in your party
On Tuesday, September 25, at 7pm, we will be making Corn dogs and donuts! These two delicious foods are often chock full of animal ingredients. There are some delicious ready-made vegan brands of each of them available— but they are so seldom made from scratch at home! Is it the deep frying, is it the mess, is it the fact that we’re just not used to making them? Let’s find out together!
*Free, but RSVP requested and contact vegan hacker to figure out what ingredients to bring
This event is scheduled every last Thursday of the month:
