Camp Reynolds has been active since the 1860s. Volunteers in Victorian outfits, will open the 1860s Victorian house and the Civil War era Bake House for tours. These buildings are being lovingly kept up and not always open to the pubic. Costumed docents will give inside tours and share history of life on the Island and in the SF Bay Area. It’s a fundraiser for the 501c non profit Angel Island Conservancy. For a donation Food & Drink will be available: Lourds ice cream (and waffle cones),Fudge Sundaes, Cookies, Fresh Lemonade and Unsweetened iced Sun Tea. The 1880s history Bake House & Wood Oven will be baking all day, and giving out free samples.
