Oakland Museum of California’s $5 First Sundays | OMCA

The Oakland Museum of California (OMCA) brings together collections of art, history and natural science under one roof to tell the extraordinary stories of California and its people.

  • Sunday Hours – 11am to 5pm – Please check website as hours may change seasonally
  • Suggested donation of $5 per person. On every first Sunday of the month, enjoy admission to OMCA with a suggested donation of $5 for general admission. There is an additional $5 fee for access to special exhibitions.

As the only museum to focus entirely on the art and history of California, the diverse collections on display in the 300,000 square foot building present the art and tell the history of California from many angles. The museum invites visitors to experience the history of California through interacting with art, becoming art, and rewriting history.
